A family home in Northside with original kitchen fixtures that no longer suited how the space was used. The homeowner wanted brighter, more comfortable light without a full renovation.
The Challenge

Several fixtures were dated and the island had no dedicated task lighting. The homeowner also wanted to understand what was possible with the existing circuits before committing to anything.
Our Approach

We reviewed the existing fixtures and switching, explained the options in everyday language, and agreed a scope for island pendants and replacement ceiling fixtures. Floors and counters were protected, and the work area was tidied at the end of each visit.
The Outcome

The agreed fixtures were installed as planned. The homeowner received a walkthrough of the new switching along with care notes for the fittings.
